They've pretty much ignored him, when I let them in (which is pretty rare these days anyway) but Mummy Cat just likes to lie on any blanket pillow sock peice of clothing anything other than the floor and so I sometimes end up telling her off. :-)
We don't let them into Vincent's room at all, so when they see the door open they tend to make a break for it out of curiousity. But they haven't really responded much at all. They don't like it when he cries though. :-)
