Just don't roll them too tightly!

I have made croissants once (in my teens). Time consuming, but not too bad, but then I rolled them _really_ neatly... _really_ tightly, and fixed them well... limited their ability to expand:-( I seem to recall they tasted pretty fabulous, but then, with all that butter they'd be hard pressed not to:-)
