A Current Affair ran an article on Freecycle lists today. I completely forgot. Had a pleasant evening no where near a pc, and when I checked my email a minute ago...

60 conversations. We're not talking individual emails here. We're talking conversations.

Sixty. WTF??? I'm like... 7:15 tonight onwards... WHY?? Eventually, the moderator pointed out that this was due to the ACA article, and that could people please make their first posts an OFFER as s/he was going through them all and there were a LOT of emails. Poor guy, it's always been a bit of a joke that his/her email is overworkedone@something.or.other....

Man, I hope it dies down soon. I guess they must have highlighted someone getting a laptop, cos in the first five emails there's been three people asking for laptops.

And my internet is going up and down like ... me trying to get some sleep at night. :-)
Weird. I guess it wasn't just the laptop after all, like I thought it might have been.

Tonight's menu consisted of crumpets with honey and butter and a nice hot cup of (decaf) tea. I was so impatient I didn't even wait for the crumpets to get properly crunchy the way I like them. (Almost burnt. And cheese spread is just so wrong. On so many levels.)

Honey on a crumpet is perfect and any kind of jam is nice too , especially strawberry jam.
