Post Project Down

Does any one else get a small downard spiral after finishing a project? I just finished the blankey, and had a mild downward spiral for a bit. It wasn't as bad as it is post-novel, but still a little annoying.

Am I the only one to get this sort of thing? Does it go away if I complete more decent sized projects?

I get quite down, even after really big projects (i.e. like a whole novel). It's not quite the same with artwork, but with the bigger pieces, I have like a 'downtime' period. I wouldn't call it melancholy just... I go 'downwards' into myself a bit more. And I think - personally - that's a place I need to go to rest a bit, before I'm ready to put energy 'outward' into another creative project again.

But some people feel exaltation and all kinds of squeeness. I feel that more during, rather than after!

Depends on the project, if I invested all my energy in a short, intense burst then yes I have to rest up after,
