I am in bed on the laptop. Yay me! I am having a low movement day, since the weekend was very busy and I was very uncomfortable by the end of it. A day or two of bedrest should let my muscles catch up. :-)

Found somewhere in perth that does what they call the Quintet. It's cherries in a quail wrapped in a spatchcock in a chicken in a duck in a turkey with veal and pinenut stuffing. Mmmmmmmm. Our little eyes alight with greed. *grin*

Thinking we might organise a chrissy do, so that every one brings salad and drinks, and we provide over 8 kilos of meat cooked together in a giant turkey. How does that sound? It could be a happy birthday jesus party, or an actual chrissy do if we want to do $5 pressies for every one or else do a round robin type of present buying thing. Eh, plenty of time yet. :-) But I am trying to budget and start buying presents for people now, so the sooner I corner people and work out what we're doing, the sooner my budget looks happy!

Ok, enough bragging, back to my baby forums. I finally finished reading the scientology book, that was cool. I still can't remember if I posted that link (I got it from Azhure) out of the others i read. I do wish there hadbeen more about the clams though. :-)

i've had chicken in duck in turkey before, it's very nice - but never with the quail and spatchcock. sounds interesting!

The quintet just sounds too weird .

The party sounds like a great idea , although cooking 8 kios of meat in a turkey sounds way weird , maybe it's just me .

How are you and John going?
