Basic Perfume
Sep. 8th, 2008 10:13 amMy instructions say 2 cups of flowers to 1/2 cup of vodka. Cool. Since the jasmine is going wild and I love jasmine, I have denuded a few handfuls of flowers into a coffee jar, and poured vodka on top. Now I am supposed to keep it warm and dark and loved and hugged for the next two weeks. With the occasional shake.

Posted mostly so I remember to check on it! I think I am supposed to shake it daily.
Hmm. I wonder what Jasmine and Vanilla would be like as a perfume! Maybe I should chuck a vanilla pod in there. And a bit of dried orange peel to bring down the sweetness a little.
Next batch maybe. Let's see how this one goes first LOL
