Update

Vinnie looks ok, no antibiotics this time. Wasted three and a half hours in emergency before any one realised we *still* hadn't seen a doctor. Doctor came ASAP and we were out of there at the four hour mark.

Glad that of all the people this happened to, it happened to someone who wasn't in a bad way. Vinnie slept through most of it, while I stared vacantly at things and John lurked. Jack was with Ma and pa as we had a family get together on. (Which is where I am now.) Had a few glasses of wine, and trying not to view the whole day as a complete waste of time.

Thanks every one for their best wishes. The worst part about today was that the couple next to us were in the middle of a miscarriage of what sounds like an ectopic pregnancy. And today seemed like baby day - all of the kids around were Vinnie's age or younger, and there were *lots* of them.

Anyway, there's another glass of wine with my name on it somewhere, and I'm going to go and find it.
