I did enjoy it. But there were a few buts... It felt like 7 or 8 episodes, not 10. There was an entire character thread that I think could have been removed/inserted differently and just didn't warm me up. I felt there was lots of boy sex (yay!) but at the same time, I agree with Helen who said that they seem to have made Jack more gay than bi, and in doing so lost the dimension and depth that added to his character. I completely agree with that (paraphrased) assessment, and felt that it would have been more touching for him to have fallen for a woman at least once. They wouldn't even have needed to change the dialogue.

I liked the ending, though it did feel a bit like we had to have everything explained. Even after nine episodes. But yay Torchwood! I'm willing to watch more!

I read this today/yesterday and found it such a delightful romp. I liked Agatha, and found her refreshingly down to earth and talented, an awesome combination. And she seems confident and competent and awesome. Yay!

I found the writing to be smoothflowing and easy, and the little jokes funny and well presented. Loved the Jagermonsters, they sounded so interesting, I'd love to know more. I also love the whole mad scientist thing, I think that worked really well and did explain the somewhat broken society.

Lots of fun to read. I prefer novels over graphic novels, and this got my ready for a book 2 ... if they ever do a novel of the rest of the graphic novels!
