Gosh, it's Winter Solstice!

Today has been a funny day. I resolved a fair chunk of sh*t, and recieved edits in my email. A lots of stuff that's a stepping stone to other stuff seems to have happened. I just did some reading on Wiki about midwinter, and apparently it was the traditional time to slaughter any cows and sheep that you didn't want to feed over winter, a step to prepare and buckle in for the potential starvation coming.

My beasts, I think, have been slaughtered and dressed for preservation, and it's time for me to hunker down and get to work. Can't wait for spring now, I'm looking forward to the return of the sun and warmth.
