Yay! Alcohol! Drinking! burting! Er,,.. hurting.
Anyway, to prove I can still provide a good spread even when pussed, tonight we are having blue cheese beef wellingtonsgs (beef with parsley and blue cheese in puff passtry with a milkw ash and sesame seeds), ratatoie, and some pasta thing alfredo which I had added the remaining blue cheese to.

For most people, the food was lovely. From my point of view, I need to take more care with the pastry. I cut some of the excess off of the peice I gave to John, and the pastry was perfectly cooked underneath, but the second one I didn't trim enough off, and so the pastry underneath was not cooked.
:-)
Next time I want to try doing the original recipe, with a whole fillet and mushrooms and pate. Hmmmm.
Oh, and we finished it all off with strawberry and boysenberry port pudding with lady borden strawberry icecream.
All made without a recipe in sight.
