We had fried chicken for dinner tonight. Yum!
I started with AB's recipe but didn't have buttermilk, so just used natural yoghurt. I was also a little low on some of the spices, or else trying to avoid them for burping reasons. :-) But anyway, the chicken was so tender I was worried it was too tender. Ever had such a thing?
And we had dirty coleslaw, which is cabbage, carrot, cheese and sultanas in a whole egg/balsamic vinegar/malt vinegar/sugar dressing. All it needed was some walnuts, and it would have been awesome!! Well, actually, it was awesome. More awesomer??
I wanted to blog yesterday about how awesome ReBoot is. If you haven't seen it, talk to us at the next con to arrange an exchange. Spread the word! I love it to bits. :-)
Finally finished the bloody birthday cake yesterday. A knife through it's heart into two peices, and it was finally done. I think I can live without caramel mudcake in my life for a while now. I still have way too much good fudge, plus some turkish delight that needs my attention. But my sweet tooth seems to be sated right now. Thank goodness.
Did a bit of sorting and created some lists and checked off some stuff from lists today. My boot is full, ready for fe2h2o. I probably shouldn't mention that here. *grin* There are huge holes becoming apparent in the spare rooms and I am starting to feel more confident that we can go from two spare rooms down to one. Pikelet's room is starting to have more space inside.

I am going to go through it tomorrow though, as I want to make draught stoppers. Once I have found the material I want, I expect there will still be about six bags of material!
