My Day Started All Right...

I had coffee and quick shower, and then while Chesh was in the shower suddenly felt very, very sick. I went to the corridor and stood outside the bathroom door, trying to either marshal the energy to ask him to stay home for a bit or else waiting for the door to open so i could ask him then... whatever came first. He opened the door and I said "Can you please stay home for a bit I really need to go back to bed for a while," and he said "sure I'll tell work I'll be late." 

After an hour it was obvious I had to go and see a doctor, and there was a cancellation for 9:00, so off we went, all four of us, and piled into the doctors and her answer is it looks like maybe a gallstone problem. I've had blood taken and tests are being done and I have an ultrasound lined up - but not until after I get back from Brisbane. 

I'm completely vague and distant from everything, the pains have gone but now I feel like I am on my own planet and just want to rest more. I've spent most of the day in bed, either sleeping or reading short stories. (Another borderlands down! Must update spreadsheet.) 

ETA my dr just rnag me back, there *is* something wrong, and I need to try and get the ultrasound before Brisbane. Tomorrow, I make more phone calls I guess. Oh, and I need to eat more salt. There's signs that there is something inflamed but no specific proof as to what. It was supposed to be around 12, but it was at 20. I don't know what that all means, but I'm sure it will all be fine.

Oh crumbs, that sounds horrible. Bugger. I hope they make a quick straitforwards diagnosis tomorrow.
The thing that was around 20 would be your total white cell count. Its not a really bad level, but you definately have something that needs to be sorted out soon, if I am making any sense...

When my gall bladder was inflammed I found that the only thing that really helped with that uncomfortable pain was antiacids, inparticularly the chewable quick eze and a heat pack on my tummy area.

I hope you get this sorted quickly hon. I suffered for years with mine and feel so much better now it is out.

Gallstones are unbelievably painful. It was one of the worst pains I've ever had - and I've had some doozies.
