I had this idea for a Real Doll. It went like this.
Get a Real Doll. Hook its jaw up to some form of motor or other actuation device. Stick a recording of a woman screaming in terror into its head. Attach a motion sensor. Bind its hands and feet so it is sitting in an almost feotal position. Use make up effects to make it look dirty, scratched and bruised. Put it in a cupboard. Wait for guests to arrive.
Once the guests arrive, sooner or later someone's going to want a drink. This is where the fun starts. When they ask if you have anything to drink you say "Sure, help yourself." They'll head into the kitchen and start looking for a glass. When they ask where the glasses are, direct them to the Cupboard Of Terror. As soon as they open it, the motion detector kicks in, triggering the jaw opening and the scream. Your guest promptly shits themself. You laugh.
I told someone this idea and they just said "You're sick". Yes. Sick but funny.
I'm still not sold on the funny thing. I found this deck of cards I found cheap once, and on every card there is a "prank or party trick." It's just depressing the number of ways people can be mean to each other in the search for amusement!! :-)
