My head hurts. :-( My throat was seriously raw this morning. I got up at 1:30, went back to bed at 3:30ish, got up again at 4:30ish... and saw I had a phone call on my mobile. Thinking it might have been John ringing from Godfrey's or something, I tried to ring back. "Hi, this is Kate from Ultimo." Ooops. If I'd known, I wouldn't have even bothered. I tried to say who I was. I then tried again. Kate's like "hello?" and I'm like .... dying... eventually I manage to get enough noise from my throat to make her understand that it was me, and can she ring next week, and that I had thought she was the husband otherwise I wouldn't have bothered because I know my voice is so shocking right now. We had a laugh (well, she laughed, I gasped hoarsely in a near approximation) and we hung up.
Back to headachey unhappiness. I have defrosted mince. The most amusing thing about the way I think sometimes is this: it's not the money that stops me from getting take away tonight. It's the sheer thought of all the vegies that I would not be eating by doing so!!!
Kill tally for today so far is two tomatoes, plus a banana last night, and I think Chesh has taken some fruit too. Not doing as well as yesterday, but I have reasons!! Will update once dinner is sorted and eaten. *grin*
Oh, and I only have two paracetamol in the house. I have been eyeing them off, but waiting to see if headache gets worse, or to wait until bed time before I take them. These two paracetamol are getting good leeway here!
