Date: 2005-08-05 03:55 am (UTC)From:But seriously, second hand Tupperware can be a great way to get some extra cash. Look out for near new or "classic" stuff in opshops and sell it on ebay. Sometimes you can get parts replaced (ie if damaged) from Tupperware for free. The best ones to look out for are those ex-Tupperware dealers who are selling off their kit at swap meets or garage sales. Usually the parts are near-new if not brand-new and they often sell them off "to get rid of the stuff". Look for discontinued items and colours - they are your best sellers.
I know too much about this stuff.... Hmmm... plastic :D

And yes, I occasionally would check out the american tupperware to see the different colours. I found the tupperware videos also very illuminating. I'm always curious about the cultural differences and the little changes between societies which people think are so similar.
