But seriously, second hand Tupperware can be a great way to get some extra cash. Look out for near new or "classic" stuff in opshops and sell it on ebay. Sometimes you can get parts replaced (ie if damaged) from Tupperware for free. The best ones to look out for are those ex-Tupperware dealers who are selling off their kit at swap meets or garage sales. Usually the parts are near-new if not brand-new and they often sell them off "to get rid of the stuff". Look for discontinued items and colours - they are your best sellers.

Yes, yes you do know too much about this stuff. But you have given me some ideas. Mostly ideas of the 'I need more of the pantry stuff" type of thing... and where to look out for it cheap *grin*

I was amused to note the new black stuff is already on sale at Ebay when apparently it was only released at the beginning of august. Don't you get sued if you're a distributor and you use Ebay?

Ahh, the black stuff is slightly more tricky. It was available, briefly, years ago here but has been available overseas for years I believe. Different colours for different countries etc. There are also many products that we only see here as specials etc that are regular lines in the US/Europe/Asia.

You probably don't get sued as you can "sell" it to a family member who could on-sell it on ebay. At least, I think that would be legal.

When I was a tupperwhore, they released they same stuff in blue with green trim. I thought it was f*cking ugly then, too.

And yes, I occasionally would check out the american tupperware to see the different colours. I found the tupperware videos also very illuminating. I'm always curious about the cultural differences and the little changes between societies which people think are so similar.

The blue and green stuff *is* hideous. I've *almost* got all the Tupperware I need at the moment. The one item I want is no longer being made :(

I made a male friend become a Tupperwhore once. He was damn good but gave it away after 6 months.

the newer cheese keeper - the one with the little vents in the lid. I nearly bought once at the tupperstand at Chadstone but my lego friend Troy (yes, I made him all myself ;) ) wouldn't let me stop to buy it. Bastard. Now they don't stock it :(
