I read backwards.
I got this far: http://www.livejournal.com/users/callistra/friends?skip=700
Note the SEVEN HUNDRED at the end? Yeah, THAT far. Mind you, I skipped a lot, skimmed a lot, and really only paid attention when it was a post from friends. :-)
I'm tired. In the hospital, I was averaging about three naps a day plus most of a night's sleep. Today, I got a one hour sleep in the morning, and the rest of my usual nap times were taken up with coming home or cleaning up the hospital room.
I'd like to say thanks to everyone for all the wishes, thoughts, and comments. I've tried to write my birthstory, I got about half way through before I needed a nap, so I'll try again probably tomorrow, once I've fired up the laptop again, and I'll also write a long story about the hospital and midwives and see if I can answer every one's questions for them. Last night, we were in bed by 8:00. It was nice. It looks like I'm not to be so lucky tonight, but I'm sure it will all work out.
Vincent is terribly, terribly precious. I'm a bit sad right now because our first feed outside of the hospital involved a bit of a temper tantrum and my being very tired means I'm feeling a bit sad and keep crying all over John! But hey, more details on that later I am sure.
Glad to be home.

Date: 2005-08-17 01:13 pm (UTC)From:It's normal to feel a bit out of it after getting out of hospital from having a group of people helping you to just having the two of you to figure out how to look after the little tyke.
Give me a call anytime(within reason) and you'll be fine ,you just need to get the hang of things.
