11pm Feed was a Success!

I feel much better about life in general now. Plus the one and a half hours sleep seems to have helped.
:-)

Now, to try and ignore the wailing because it's play time from his point of view, and sleep time from Mum and Dad's point of view. I have been assured this will only happen for about two nights before he gets the idea, but it's still kind of nerve wracking, even if we do know that it's not an "I'm hungry" or an "I need burping" cry.

A friend of mine that has three kids , reckons that the first few days are kind of weepy and chaotic and remember you're hormones are still out of wack .

Vincent just needs to get use to a routine and so do you guys and yeah identifying the different cries is a real challenge ,when I babysat when I was younger I still got the cries mixed up and sometimes they just cry for no reason,they are weird little creatures indeed.

Sorry I sound so preachy *hugs*.

The 5:30 one was the hardest so far. Vincent cried for just over an hour, intermittently before dropping off into a deep sleep.

Thankfully from my part, the feeding bit was OK. It was the settling and sleeping bit afterwards that involved the real grizzling.
