callistra: Fuschia from Sinfest crying her heart out next to Hell's flames (Lemon Meringe Pie Icon)
Paladin of Souls, also by Lois MacMaster Bujold. A kind of not quite sequel to Curse of Chalion. I liked them both. Nice to read some mature fantasy where the character you're reading through is not 14 - 19. And acts like human beings.

And aren't trilogies...

I don't mind the trilogies thing, I do mind the "only two of three written..." or the incomplete ones where things don't get answered in the next novels etc...

I'm thinking of tackling kurshiel's dart again. I got about 200 pages in before I gave up last time. :-( I'm unsure if I want to read those 200 again, but I suppose I have to.

The next not quite sequel is out in hard cover now. The Hallowed Hunt, and I have some Dymocks Vouchers that I plan to use to get it.

Probably better wait until I actually have the book :) Mind you... I'm going to be near Dymocks this afternoon Hmm..

Always on the lookout for good recipes :)

A recipe for chocolate cats?

Actually I only eat straight chocolate in very small quantities. Cakes or puddings though I eat happily. (When I get around to making them. Pudding for 1 seems a waste of effort somehow)

Pudding english style with currants and suet etc, or pudding american style with milk and a setting agent?
:-)

Actually the use I grew up with, where pudding was a synonym for dessert. No matter the actual type.

Oh yes. I did pick up the Hallowed Hunt (I went to see Valiant @ Carousel because it was the only cinema showing it even close to outside of work hours and there was Dymocks, the remaining hardback copy and I just couldn't resist. Though that was aided much by $17 worth of book vouchers) and then, because I was being sociable and had an early morning I didn't start reading it for at least 24 hours :o

If you want to borrow we just need to figure out when we'll next be in the same room. Will you be at Genghiscon?

Nah, I won't be at Genghiscon. Are you coming to Anna's for a bra party on Sunday? Consider yourself invited.
:-)
Although I'm not sure when on Sunday it is yet.
:-)
In the afternoon at least.

Since I've already paid for genghiscon and this is the first I've heard about potential bra party, I suspect not. I still don't have any need for pretty bras anyway.

I might leave book at Anna's for you though, (though whether she snaffles it to read in the meantime I can't say)
