As someone who just had a baby boy about 2 months ago now, I can say that it is worth it, he's smiling and talking (in his own way) already. A cheeky grin is one of the best rewards for all the crap the little bugger angel puts you through. Of course I've tried to put the experience of morning sickness out of my mind, but it does eventually stop. 'Have' cravings even if you dont really have them, it's your best excuse to eat whatever the hell you want, if you dont do so already.. ;)

1. Morning sickness?
2. Pregnant?
3. Pregnant!!
4. I didn't know that.
5. Did she ever mention it?
6. Shit, did she mention it and I didn't notice?
7. Did she mention it and I just forgot?
8. OMG did I forget one of my friends was pregnant?!
9. OMG I am the worst friend ever.
10. I suck so much!!
11. How the fuck did I manage to- waitaminute, that's a lot of comments.
12. Ready read read read.
13. Hey! OK, cool! I wasn't supposed to know yet.

When I am pregnant, I get a sweet tooth. So far today, I have wanted bread and butter pudding, icecream, cookie dough, cookies, shortbread, chocolate and sugar and butter mixed together.

I've had cheese and savoury shapes *grin*

When I was pregnant with Vinnie, I remember eating those scary chinese dumplings with sweet chili sauce at about midnight every night for a looooong time. You know the sort; if you read the ingredients list, it says "Beef OR Mutton.' Gotta love the way even the manufacturers are unsure.

On most cases, people don't even tell any one until about 13 weeks. I am 6.5 weeks. I have been telling people I see face to face, in case I need to nap/throw up/eat everythign in sight and then want more, and then I started posting weepy wussy posts and lots of them, so I figured I should warn people. Plus, I went and read when i was pregnant with Vinnie, and I was up at night a lot then too, so there might be a lot more virtual room parties to come.
