My tummy muscles hurt and hurt and hurt. I had panadol about two hours ago now, and they still *ache.* I think it's mostly from running around this morning getting to the hospital and back to the car but why doesn't the paracetamol stop it? It *hurts*

If you've got tenderness to touch, please get it checked out ASAP - some complications can cause a muscular-type ache in the abdomen.

Otherwise, I just hope it gets better soon for you :)

Nah, Vinnie has been poking me all day, and no tenderness to touch. Just a general muscle ache.

Thanks for the heads up though.
I'm hanging out for my destressing showing and mayan gold....
It's my way of trying to stay sane the past few days.
*grin*

Isn't that Mayan Gold just the yummiest fragrance oil you've ever smelt?

Although, I think there was a soap I onced loved that was patchouli and clove I think... but I think the producer changed suppliers or something, because the last batch I bought was a bit ... pale I think. It wasn't as intense as the last two or three batches!

How much panadol? It's pretty piss-weak stuff :)

Also depends on what the pain is, eg a muscle ache would probably do better with an anti-inflammatory, but you wouldn't be able to take that at the moment. Panadeine should be okay though.

I try not to even take paracetamol unless absolutely necessary when pregnant.
:-/

Otherwise, my fave drug is asproclear.
Soothes everything and makes me feel floaty and good! LOL

Do heat packs help? I have lost of muscular achey bits atm for the surgery and heat packs have been my saviour!

I should remember heat packs. I was just so far at the end of my tether yesterday. But i got a little sleep last night and the cold is going, and so is my conjunctivitus I think, so things are looking up now. I can handle dull aching pains better when there's less other bullshit going on in my body!
