Dinnah!
I think I read somewhere about everything being served on one big plate and against mounds of pilaf or couscous, so I thought I would give it a try. In the end though, we thought Vinnie might not like it and opted out for now, so this was served as it was and we all had our own plates. The chicken turned out AWESOME!! A real win! And the loobia also turned out to be a real win! The loobia came from Barbara at Tigers and Strawberries and the chicken is from Arabesque.
Notes: LOTS of pepper good for the chicken and the loobia. The loobia really benefited from the fresh mint and dill. It looked pale and boring but was really jazzy on the tongue. The chicken was very sweet and sticky, and put me in mind of some of the women's weekly chinesie type of chicken recipes with rich sauces. I used the mandolin to prepare the onions for both dishes and was very pleased with the results. Also, did it all within the one hour cooking time. (I start dinner usually at 5pm with the aim of eating at 6:15ish)
