OMG the PAIN!

I did my morning reading this morning, and then... then... THEN! The horror! MY KEYBOARD DIDN'T WORK! ACK!

There was much rebooting, much gnashing of teeth and angsty wailing and reseating the USB plug... and finally I unplugged Chesh's mp3 player and now my keyboard loves me again.

*sigh*

I can live again now.
*hugs her intarwubs*
I don't rely on you for sanity at all.

Sounds like it was a USB port going 'OMG, too much power consumption *powers off*'.

Chesh tried that answer on me too... but nope, I am too wily for that!

The keyboard is currently plugged into my monitor, and the dodgy device was plugged into the back. So the keyboard is running off the power of the monitor, and the mp3 player is off the PC.
