1. You can achieve one, and only one, of the following with your writing:
world-fame, wealth, a Nobel prize, a Hugo, a Nebula, or relative
obscurity but the certain knowledge that you have dramatically changed
one person's life. Which do you choose (or if there is something else not
on that list that you would choose instead, name that instead)? Why?
I wrote an answer to this, and it was long and rambly, and every one followed me on an awesome journey of self discovery... but then i got stuck with a later question and shelved everything for a week or so. So now, my answer is... money! My voyage of self discovery was pretty cool and neat, and I figured out that the other important thing I may have already achieved, so I am happy. :-)
2. What is the secret of the success of your relationship with Chesh? SEX! Um.,... no, I lie... that's a good percentage of it, but also not taking him for granted. Knowing that every day is a choice we have made to be together and raise children together, and communicating about *everything* that affects our relationship.
3. Which are your favourite vegetables? Which vegetables do you hate?
Which vegetables are you currently growing? I love love love pumpkin. I don't think I hate any vegie. I have corn, eggplant, pumpkin (three kinds) cauliflowers, broccoli, beetroot, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes are accidental. I guess I will have to do some digging soon. :-)
4. An unfortunate accident with a Tardis (important safety tip: if
snogging Captain Jack, make sure that you don't accidentally bump the
Tardis console controls) causes you to be whisked backwards in time and
sideways into an alternate universe in which Chesh never existed. Which
qualities do you look for in a partner now?
Am I the same age as me? Do i remember my time with Chesh? Or are we talking that I never actually met him? This question had me so stumped, it's what derailed me the first time I tried to answer your questions.
5. Which projects (if any) are you thinking up outside of Femmeconne and
Percon? :)
Percon is on hold right now, as i am not sure that there's enough interest, and I don't want to lose money again. Plus with Chesh being on contract and not salary, I don't even know if he will have a job after May. Femmeconne is still going ahead though. Other projects... this year i am planning on focusing on writing well. Learning to produce text which does NOT make people want to spork their eyes out will be a good aim. And working on all sorts of parts of the writing industry. I am enjoying Last Short Story, it's great to see what's out there and have a reason to read it all. Honestly, I am leaning heaps and have ranted at chesh once or twice which i should really put up here for thoughts. So if Percon doesn't go ahead this year, then it looks like no new big projects. Apart from the next trilogy, but that counts as part of working on writing gud. :-)
