OMG the Kylie episode! OMG! It was so bad! And it wasn't Kylie's fault!
LOL

and then... today we watched the 1st Donna episode. OMG! It was so good! It was so funny! I thought the blobby things were cute but Chesh thought they were creepy. This made me laugh. The entire episode was gold.Just pure gold. Love the OMG I found you! moments.

Um, I guess I said there would be a spoiler, so I should put one in. Ummmmmm... Kylie Minogue was in it? I was sitting there watching this long boring episode and wondering what has gone wrong? Why don't I care? Why do I want them to just hurry up and OFF EVERYONE FFS!

I am still not sure, but I am blaming a terrible script. All the characters were flat lifeless and boring. being fat isn't the sum of a person's existance. Being a rich snob is not the entire portrait of a character. I did like the hosts. I thought they looked beautiful. But the strange thing is, the first Donna episode is also written by Russel T davies, and yet it was REALLY FUCKING GOOD.

But anyway. I have unicorns!

perchance there were restrictions in place because it was kylie and they didn't want her doing any stupid stuff so you lose the dynamics of that wacky scifi adventure that the show is.

I have this theory that RTD has this finite amount of good writing that he can do in each year - and that he seems to have used up his Good Writing Quota gets used up by the time he needs to write the Christmas Special.
