Day I don't know

I am still completely out of it. I know I had some conversations, and some of them even made sense. I picked up J :-( he's been very upset. I think both the boys are very upset and they're showing it in different ways. i think V is too scared to touch me or anything and it's putting a real dampener on his normally sunny moods, and J is much clingier than he has been in a long time. 

I'm killing time until I feel better. I'm kind of dizzy and very vague. Bejewelled is almost beyond my mental capacities. All I want is chocolate. :-)

Sweetheart, it is awful and unfair that you have reacted so. Please listen to your body in case of an infection - which I didn't get but dr_k did.

I was reading it as you were telling me off for reacting to the kids, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what reaction you'd thought I'd had! I don't remembering being this stupid for so long before, but I don't think I've had a bad reaction before.

I think I may have pulled a stitch slightly, but that's all at this point. I intend to spend days in bed, so hopefully if I get an infection or anything I'll spot it. Or something. I'll try and post every day, just so my collective brain can keep an eye on me.

The whole recovery stage of this op sounds awful, especially the drugs and things! Hang in there as every day you will recover a bit more. In a week you will be amazed at how much you have healed! *hugs*

Actually I was looking for some quiet company for Monday. It's a bit of a drive though. I don't know how needy I will be (I'm still not standing for much longer than a very quick shower) so the cups of tea might not be on offer.

If it's too far it's OK, but I live in Westfield/Camillo.

Every time I've had an anaesthetic I've been like you probably because I have a bad reaction to most of them as well. It will pass but really I don't feel properly back together again for the best part of a month. Just don't push yourself. It will come right.

Anaesthetics are a necessary evil. It takes me almost a week to get back to reasonably functioning (by which I mean cooking something more complicated than a sandwich). Take your time, you will be fine.
