Looks like I'm hanging out at Hangover City for the day. Chesh has come down with the cold that floored me on Thursday, so we're staying VERY close to home.
Had a really lovely dinner party last night. It was great to have a formal one, where we had nibblies on the table and a pre-dinner drink, followed by prawn cocktail with a lovely glass of wine, roman lamb with mashed potato and broccoli for dinner, again with more win... we did have a bottle of red to go with the lamb, but every one had brought more white wine. Liluri had brought a bottle of wine that was white bubbly with strawberries in it. It was sweet. but very nice.
And we had fire, which was awesome. I smoked a cigar! First one since before Vin was born LOL and after the wine ran out, I had chartreuse and lemonade.
I think I am more hung over than I was in Melbourne!
