I have knocked up my first draft of my promo flyer for Spring Camp, cleaned the dishes (and ruined a few nails in the process which SUCKS!) and had coffee and ranted on my blog, and seen that Grant is doing an absolutely fucking awesome job with FTI, I have the urge to go and geek with him about marketing and sales and enthusiasm and people and .... OK, maybe he's not ready for that yet or might bore him spitless.... anyways :-)
Yay me! It's so beautiful outside. Yesterday, I did some cleaning in the garden, moved a few things around, check out other things, threw some stuff into the bin, and planning planning planning for my birthday party.
Fun things every one should know about:
October
Spring Camp! Pagan fun in the bush. Less than 5 mins drive away, cruisy, relaxing and highly educational. *grin*
Wastelands! Saturday the 9th (Yes, election day) and Sunday the 10th. I have a room. I will party. W00t! Check out the Blog: http://wastelandcon.blogspot.com/ for more details. I am hoping to display my lingerie, and if things work out, also have a wine tasting of the Swancon con wines!
Dinner with Sean Williams! Wednesday the 13th we shall be descending in force upon a resturaunt (probably the Dusit Thai, but not yet sorted out. Any other suggestions, speak quickly, and post your suggestions. I need a decent profit margin and good food.) Dinner with Sean will be $50 a head, and I can brag right now that he has been a busy little author boy! *yay!*
Fairbridge! Yay! Friday 29th of October and Saturday 30th of October, weekend away for 12/16 people (can't remember how many exactly at the mo) food and drink provided for around $70 - $100 depending on if we go with the Cocktail party for Sat night, or if I just leave every one to bring their own alcohol. It's also All Hallow's Eve, or Samhain on this side of the World, so come down, relax, and get holy on my ass. In a BDSM sense I am sure. No no, none of the last two sentences mean anything. *grin* Plus, I have made sure I booked a cottage with an open fire and lots of bedrooms, it's gonna rock!
Oh, and in between, I need to sell some lingerie. *grin*
November
Around the 13th, we're going to Margaret River. Yay Margaret River! It's being organised by the Mynxlette, so she'd better make some decisions about stuff like accomodation. *grin*
17 - 23 - Um. Er. Eslewhere. Not home. *grin*
December:
11th December, my 30th Birthday party! Here! We party HERE! (In a Zim scream) I am expecting ALL of my friends to fly in. *grin* No, really! If any one has a blow up mattress, can we borrow it? I am buying a few crates of champagne, cabernet merlot, and classic white from Swancon, plus I am sure there will be some beer (how can I avoid it) and will be providing muchos food. And perhaps a spa as well as we have a pool.
Ok, off to check out some plants. And maybe grab some food along the way. Maybe curried egg and lettuce sandwiches. Now that's a totally different rant. *grin*
