1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Travelled over east a lot.
Got retrenched.
Started a business.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't believe in NYE resolutions - if you're not trying to be who you want to be every second of the day then you will never get there. :-)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?

A cleaning lady.
7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
11th december 2004. Biggest. Party. Ever.
November. Between my friends, Sydney, Hellfire, my hormones, November was just a series of crisies all in a row.
October. Between Johncon (Wastelands), Swancon fundraising, stress, misery, and Liluri's visit, October is kind of blurry too. At least October had more redeeming features in it. :-)
COVENANT! March-ish?

Cheshire. This year has been interesting in a non-positive way, and he has withstood the whirlwind admirably.
Alli. She has been a true light in my life this year. Hoping to go back to Sydney and have a huge party at her house with all my Sydney based friends!! :-)
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Probably best if I do not mention names. There was also an incident in which I still can not believe that one of the participants has no idea of how pissed off and hurt I was/am still. It doesn't matter any more, it's kind of been sorted.
14. Where did most of your money go?
I don't know!! Sydney? Brisbane? Adelaide? Sydney? Birthday? Kitchen?
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Sydney
16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Gott Tantze (E Nomine) Translates as - And God Danced.
Joy - VNV Nation
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Sadder.
ii. thinner or fatter? The same. Amusingly enough :-)
iii. richer or poorer? Richer, definately richer. Or do they mean financially? Going down to a single income family would make me poorer then.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Hermitting. I wih some things had never happened. Perhaps if I'd not been out there so much they wouldn't have.
No, I'm being melodramatic. I don't know.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Been angry. I hate being angry, I know how much I can accomplish when I'm NOT emotionally driven, and when combined with anger and hurt I can get quite... insane. I've spent more time this year being hurt and angry than I have in the past 10 years combined.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Dinner at the parents. (Usually it's breakfast/lunch but Ma and Pa are visiting Granddad on his home for lunch this year.)

Coupling? *looks hazily backwards to see if I can *remember* any others.*
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No, but I do feel like my trust has been broken by a few actions lately. I don't believe in hate.

Vin Deisel still catches my eye. I think of Greebo (or Mr Gribeau) as looking like him, but taller and with much tighter jeans. Erk!
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
This has been a bad bad year for political issues.
"Pro-Choice" and "Anti-Abortion." I don't think any one has the right to tell a woman whether or not she can choose to have an abortion. It should all be up to her.

Ms Lilith Liluri
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Vyvyansb! .......BookPimp!.......

Feuer und Wasser
(Fire and Water)
Wow, this was depressing! I think I need to do a lot of thinking, perhaps some talking too. :-( But this was definately the most painful year I have had in a very, very, long time.
