callistra: Fuschia from Sinfest crying her heart out next to Hell's flames (Default)
If you read this,
Even if I don't speak to you often,
Please post a memory
of me in a comment.

It can be anything you want, it can be good or
bad,

Just so long as it happened.

Then post this to your journal.
See what people remember about you. Or not.

You can ask me to keep it private if you would like.

I think I shall try and develop a meme about people who read my blog. I shall have to think deeply on this.
:-)

All right. Since you asked.

My main memory of you involves giggling, corsets and cleavage. But I suppose that's more an impression than a memory...
OH! I do remember the time I came to visit and you, John and a few other people were sitting around watching porn, involving some guy dressed as a chicken shagging some woman dressed as a pig.

It was... odd.

Chicken Boy!!!?? And a Field Full of Dildoes?? I think we broke a LOT of people with that one. It's around here somewhere... still... I think...

I'm not sure you broke me with that, it was just rather a strange thing to walk in on.
I'm pretty sure I was mildly drunk within an hour of that happening.

What!? You have not showed ME that one!
*walks away in a huff*

That day you and John showed a very tired Patrick (who'd been up all night doing IM) around Perth, especially the kangaroos...

Kangaroo Skippy Roo
Dozing in the midday sun
Comes a hunter run run run
Guess who's sodomizing you just for fun

Going to your house, barely knowing you, or what your reaction might be... Scared and lonely telling you what happened... You were just wonderful, your empathy, your belief in me, I'll never forget that you were the only female in my life in that year that knew and supported me and didn't blame me.

There's a million other things I remember about you, not all are pleasant and I know you can say the same about me but this above all things is something I'll never forget.

Thank you

That must have been a very, very, very long time ago.
:-)
Yeah, same here. Many memories, and like any long term relationship, not all pleasant, but definately most of them, and always worthwhile.
*grin*

Big cleavagy hugs. Many many times. And which are always appreciated. :-)

To me, when I think of you, I imagine corsets and swancon. I will always remember you talking about swimming in a hotel pool at dawn. Yes thats it - swiming in pools as the dawn breaks - thats what I think about. Make sure you keep that spirit!!!

The first time I met you - at the William Street house. You marched right up to me and said "I don't know you. I am Sarah." And then you extended your hand to me, and I notice you were wearing the hand jewelled thingies..you know the type that go around your wrist and link around your middle finger? What are they called???

Anyways, forthright and friendly :)

they might be called slave bracelets....

:-)

oh, I used to have a slave bracelet. it got stolen when our house was broken into a few years ago, along with some of my other jewelry (marquisite ring and stuff). The guy I bought it from doesn't seem to work in Sydney any more, so I haven't been able to replace it. :(

I bought it for myself because I liked it. Did get sick of being asked who gave it to me though.

I like them but have never owned any.

Pity yours got stolen. What is a marquisite ring?

turning up to Perth for the first time, not knowing anyone, and having you sms me pretty much as soon as I got off the plane and then pick me up for dinner then next night. Was lovely to recognise you and John once Swancon started, even if we our paths barely crossed for the rest of the weekend.

and then literally holding my hand when I got my nose piereced. It still hurt like all hell, but it was nice not to be there on my own (and I didn't want my bf to be there, too stressful for both of us).

Lots of impression memories, not so many memory-memories.

The first picture that comes to mind is you standing at the front of Swancon 2004, fundraising enthuthiastically, confidently and energetically despite it being the end of the con.

You winning a prize for most enthuthiastic and friendly newcomer at your first Sweancon.

You getting photographed by 1001 camera wielding people impressed by your corset at Mardi Gras.

Most of my impression-memories can be summed up as friendly, confident, outgoing, energetic, enthuthiastic, cheerful, xena tshirts and corsets. And down-to-earth. Lily
