And I was one of them!! LOL
Just finished reading a Not-Gor book by John Norman, called Time Slave. Amused. More focussed and directed than his usual Gor novels, and seemed to have more of a plot. The Gor stuff had a lot more stylized type of slavery, and there seems to a more common ground for a female reader to relate to in this one. Not that this is necessaily what *I* want, but I was amused.
:-)
A friend offered me any Gor books he found at home; so I said yeah sure. He rings me up, and starts reading out the names of the ones he has. Now, in any large collection of books, crap accumulates. That's understandable. But more than two or three I'm starting to get suspicious. He had found five and thinks there might be "one or two more" from "when his dad used to buy them for plane flights and stuff." Ya-huh. :-)
Unfortunately, I already had three of the five, but I took them off his hands anyways. I did tell him I already had them, and he was still cool to get rid of them.
Our loungeroom now has one off-white wall, and a newly painted ceiling. Now I need to move some other books and stuff and get another wall or two done. Yay! Oh, and Chesh wants more Ikea. :-)
