What the hell is going on with the internet? Email has become truly hit and miss for the first time that I've noticed in 10 years! I'm gettig emails from Wednesday on Saturday morning, and some emails are two days old, some are three days old, and I'm sure some have just not turned up.
The answer is, apparently, that there is so much spam and virii at the moment that it's affecting normal transmissions. Grrrrrrrr. It's kind of important as the Con gets closer that we can communicate quickly, and I find it sad that something I could trust so implicitly before has been ruined by idiots out there who don't even get a benefit out of it!
Swancon is chugging along quickly. DC has been doing heaps of work on the programme, and it's shaping up well. He's only giving a couple of small screams and wailings as things get changed on him, more of the sort of resigned "I-know-things-will-get-worse-yet" types of mutterings. He's a flexible boy, he'll be fine.
My bag stuffing collections is starting up. Today I should be collecting the bags themselves. *grin* And maybe a few fun things to stuff them with.
I'm really looking forward to tonight with Splanky, Mynxii and hopefully Akira_yta. I think I am cooking at Mynxii's place, which is cool because her kitchen is better than mine. Yay!! I have plans...I have a couple of mangoes here that should be perfect by tonight. I know Splanky doesn't like them so I will make 2 stirfries, one with, one without, and some rice. Chicken and Mangoes or Prawns and Mangoes are definately one of nature's magic pairings when it comes to food. And I'm thinking half a duck and some rice flour rolls again for nibbly type food.
Ok, I'm off to check my email again, maybe something else from Wednesday that needed relatively urgent attention has arrived. *sigh*
