Did not manage to have an afternoon sleep last night. Ended up going to Mynxii's place, got vegies, came home again. Sent Chesh out for fush and chups. It was nice. *grin* Splanky came, she saw, she faxed. Got yoghurt. My life is complete.
We went to bed. I was terrified I would not sleep again. I will say, I wasn't quite "out like a light" but did manage to restrain any paranoid checking of the clock on Chesh's side of the bed whenever I went to the loo. Only about four trips last night! Yay! And then it was morning and I had sleep deeply and well and was warm and comfortable and it was not cold and 4 in the morning and life was good. Strange headache whenever I cough or shake my head too fast, not sure if that's from over sleeping, strange position, or sinuses going all funny on me. No idea. But it seems to be easing as the day goes on. Still have that fluey "icky" feeling at the back of my throat and when I get really tired, but I'm kicking this one! Yay!
Chesh started the clean by putting a load of dishes on this morning before he went to work. He is also getting into this clean sink/putting the dishwasher on last thing at night, it's fantastic! *wuvs to 'usbandy one! So I managed to do a bit more, and then we made sushi for lunch. Chesh had an extra long lunch time (he worked late tonight) but because I was still out of it and a bit dizzy, I didn't realise the time constraints! So despite a two hour lunch break he had to take his sushi in with him to work and eat it there! But it was yummy sushi. The sushi-su type mix we used was a new brand (powdered rice vinegar/sugar mix) and I think next time we add even more rice to the sachet. It says 1.75 cups of cooked rice to one sachet! We had one cup raw rice, which is apparently three cups cooked sushi rice, and it was still a bit sweet! But we had teriyaki chicken which I had been marinating for days and cooked today and some fresh avocado, and cucumber. Yumbos!!
I cleaned up around my desk, except for the embarrassing pile of el cheapo cotton tips (about 2 or 300 of them) on the floor next to my feet. I was going to clean them. I am going to clean them. Later. :-) But did manage to get a table cloth onto the table, the fruit into the fruit basket, and re-arrange the veg in the fridge. Ditched some old stuff (not much though!) and am astoundedly impressed by the sheer amount of stuff![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Ooooo, suddenly though of a way to use some more veg - greek salad! Capsicum, onion, tomato and fetta! And cucumber too!! Plus I should make some tzadziki for munching on during the day. Anyway....
Randomly decided to make a lemon self saucing pudding with Chesh. Two reasons - one is that we use TWO WHOLE LEMONS! Yay! And part 2 is because this way we do something together! Poor babe is exhausted by the server upgrade - which would have been successful if the new motherboard had worked. It's so nice working together in the kitchen. We work together nicely - the one thing our cooking course did was to see how each other cooks, and then work *together* and realise when you're being in the way and to move around and get out of the way etc...
Anyway, pudding has beeped! Time for me to shut up and eat! Cya!
