And the debts they are facing are not even 100% of an annual income...
Like the couple on 100K had $50,000 of debt and the others had $13k of debt. I read stories of people with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt and less than 50K income.

What do these people do?????

Send Tiffany and Dawson to private schools, have them enrolled in music/dance/art classes, get them tommy hilwhateverhisname is clothes, buy a 20 room mansion, get pedigreed pooches, olympic sized swimming pools, beemer a must, and you know coffee isn't good enough, has to be capucinos ONLY.

And to think I supported myself and two boys on 12k a year.

I always find Oprah preaching about how to live on a restricted budget to be a little hypocritical.

Yesterday's episode was about the fantasy wedding she threw a deserving couple. Today she criticised another couple for having gone into debt because they paid for their own fantasy wedding. (Mind you, today's couple did insanely pay the airfares, hotel bills and spa bills for all their wedding guests).

I saw that when I was in the lunch room, and the guys were all bitching because the woman was putting her foot down to her husband over his spending.

I then mentioned my friend Danielle, who so controls the purse strings because if her husband gets $2, he goes to the TAB. she now uses money for the TAB as a bribe to GET HIM OFF HIS ARSE
