And the debts they are facing are not even 100% of an annual income...
Like the couple on 100K had $50,000 of debt and the others had $13k of debt. I read stories of people with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt and less than 50K income.

Today she criticised another couple for having gone into debt because they paid for their own fantasy wedding. (Mind you, today's couple did insanely pay the airfares, hotel bills and spa bills for all their wedding guests).
