Would any one be interested in a handful of vanilla beans?
For $20, you'd get about 27 vanilla pods. Less than a dollar a pod. Probably more.

I need a few takers and does any one have a CC we can use this month? If not, then I can use mine next month. It doesn't have to be $20 either, $10 or $30 or even $40 is fine. Whatever. I figure I'd like about $20 worth.

I am making enquiries about purchasing a whole kilo if there is enough demand, so if you are interested, please do mention this NOW. The first half kilo is already divvied up, but there might be a further price reduction if we order a whole kilo bundle.

I'm going to order the vanilla beans very shortly, so cash is fine, but if that money did not go back into your account, I would suggest talking to your bank about where it is!

Um, very shortly means probably this week, but potentially at the end of the month. It depends on whether I feel I can count safely enough to actually do monetary things for a few more days!!

1) To see what the price is for a full kilo and

I've been so jealous of all the americans getting the Ebay stuff for as low as $10 USD for a whole pound...

I'm excited to find something not quite as cheap but almost as! (You can get 2 vanilla pods for $13-15 in our local supermarkets here.)

And when I have that many vanilla pods I can take over the world!!! Bwahahahahahaha!

Well, ok, I can be a bit less worried about experimenting with such an expensive ingredient rather.

Ok, so, fe2h20, mikey_ob, kaela_jael, valeskah, lucretiae, chaosmanor, me.

It looks like we'll get in a kilo, and I will return some cash to people who have already paid $20.

We'll count them when they get in and divide by numbers over weight, if we do indeed get about 220 beans then it will be about 34 beans each, and maybe $17 a share. Not entirely sure, but we'll finalise it all by the end of Sunday night.
