callistra: Fuschia from Sinfest crying her heart out next to Hell's flames (Good as Gold AOL)
L, LL, Cheshire and I had a Valentines Day picnic. LL had said that she wanted to have a great Valentines Day as she had only just missed out last year, so I found some sweet smelling incense and red candles, and the four of us trooped off with enough food to survive a minor nuclear incursion.

We had a fantastic time! We played boules, which amused us no end, as pretty much every thing does after a few glasses of champagne. My Aunt had given us the Boules some time ago, but we'd never had the chance to play them, and when Ll and L mentioned that they had brought their's, I suggested we break the virginity on our set for amusement.

Annddddddddd...... it turns out they used to play Mahjongg!!!!!!Yay! Like we're *ever* going to let you two go now! Bwahahahahahahahahaha.
But anyway, back to the picnic.

The ducks were friendly. Very friendly. They kept trying to eat the jack (the small wooden ball in the boules set) when we threw it out, and we tried to chase them off and then they would sneak behind us and try and eat all the food while we were chasing boules. *grin*. LL hates ants. And bugs. And ducks. And wildlife. And spiders. And.... after a while we all pointed out that we do live in Australia. If we got rid of all of that, there's be nothing left just dirt. And boring dirt at that. :-)

LL brought brie and swirly cheese and cream cheese and chili and bikkies and honey coated cashews and pate and chicken legs that were very yummy and toblerone. And champagne. We brought three bottles of champagne (in case we ran out), parkers basil and tomato pretzels (which are left overs, and I think I will hide them so I can munch on them and not share) bbq pizza shapes, my home baked Maids of Honour (they are a very romantic bunch of tarts!) and I made up a sandwich loaf, hollowing it out and stuffing it with stuff. Stuff stuffed with stuff. There were sundried tomatoes, egg, tuna, chicken, ham, ....um...stuff! :-)

We ended up eating everything except the maids and the loaf until we came home, I sliced up the loaf and it's hard to eat but was yummy! L and I had a swim, it was beautiful. Yesterday was a bit cooler than it had been for a long time. :-) WE drank the last bottle of champagne. We munched. I made L and LL watch some stuff from my Flashy Folder. All Your Base and the cow one. After they went home I watched some of my favourite Depeche Mode videos and eagerly went to bed with my head full of Dave. Wotagod!

I think I have covered all the salient points! Except that I accidentally chipped one of their platters! And they have left it behind! Eek! Anyway, we should be seeing them today for the BonConWA! Yay Boncon! I need to catch up with every one and find out what this STUPID F*(&ING flame war that is going is all about. *grin*
