Yay! I'm in Victoria!
Jun. 7th, 2004 12:38 amIt's cold! The house has a lovely central heating system which is cool, and not too loud. The cats are fantastic, it's been great to play around with Lil and Pix, and we've been drinking porphery's sauternes which is evil wine which i love *grin* went for a lovely walk this morning, went shopping, found some nice ingredients for a mushroom pasta, slept a bit this afternoon, and I'm about to settle in for a good night's sleep. This is all very incoherent because I'm very very very very very tired, sore, but happy. The flight was cool, the plane was bigger than the sydney one, and I learnt an important rule - last in, first off the plane, and first to get the luggage. *grin* Unfortunately, I had excrutiating pain in my ears during landing, despite chewing gum and everything, and was deaf in my right ear for about four solid hours. Lil's friend picked me up from the middle of melbourne, which was very very nice of him, and then I ate all his honey cake that Lil had made. He *said* I could make a sandwich or whatever, but then he wandered into another room, and I didn't feel comfy doing that so I just ate the honey cake that Lil made which was yummy *grin* Ah well, such is life. We just watched most of Addicted to Love, which is funny because we *both* hate meg ryan and we enjoyed miss congeniality cos it's cutesey and fun and NOT ANNOYING. :-) Anyway, I'm off to read every one else's live journals and see if every one is surviving without me. I miss John heaps and look forward to being able to snuggle into him at night. :-) He will warm the bed up easily!
