I think the worst thing about the heat is that it is genuinely debilitating. It gets so hot, I can't move, I get headaches, I sweat.... and all this from sitting still and clicking the mouse occasionally. I am trying to clean the house, but it's just too hot :-(
I feel better today than I did yesterday though. Yesterday I feel really really really out of sorts in my own skin, as opposed to today where I just felt... tired and hot and odd. But not cranky. Please, when you see Chesh next, give him a nice supportive hug (or a n ice cold drink *giggle*) for putting up with me. :-)
This unemployment thing so far has one problem - the lack of air conditioning. I rang a company today, and they said we'll see if we can fit you in, but we're taking bookings for jan next year. So she rings me back to tell me she can't book me in until next year. Ok, cool. So what day? "Oh, probably the third week of Jan, not sure yet, depends on if we get any more calls to your area." Um. I'm feeling pretty unwanted as a customer now. :-( They were doing fine until then. So.... if they don't get anyother calls for my area, does that mean they'll push me back to Feb?? :-( Whatever.
