Easy Monday Lunches
Nov. 21st, 2005 04:34 pmToday was great. We had big plans that involved cleaning things. Out the window! :-) Decided we should do lunch. Splanky was busy, and we feel like yum cha (it took a while to decide) so a few SMSs later, we have seven people organised for a relaxing three hour lunch at the Dragon.
It was just so nice, something I have missed but didn't know it. When we were younger we'd always do yum cha and spent three or so hours with the group chatting and eating and talking and eating and ... well, communicating and consuming... Chuck's even cuter in daylight, he has gorgeous dark blue eyes. :-) But anyway, Lyn looked hot. Ju was the most relaxed I have ever seen her. And I'm still hunting for more write ups of the con to see what every one else thought!
We're so proud of Ju, she did such a fantastic job. She made a comment that she thought she still had more to learn from me, but I don't think there's much left for me to show at all! I think in a lot of ways Ju has done things I'd like to but never quite managed, and I'm extremely proud of her for it. She made convening look easy!! :-) We deconstructed the con, but seriously, it all ran so sweet that there was nothing to really get into! Except that now I wish it had been a three night con instead of one....
*sigh*
*grin* I wasn't sure which icon I should use for this post; but I think that in the end, there's really only one option for a post con post. :-)
