For those of you on my flist... Earth Garden has *another* article on making a pizza oven. This time it's a cob oven, which seems smaller than last episodes'. Plus, they talk about cooking in the damn thing.
But the biggest news for those who care, is that they have produced an entire book for $20 which talks about many different types of ovens, how to build them, and includes 40 odd recipes and hints and tips on fire management.
:-)
I just spent a pleasant hour in the gentle sun reading my earth garden and listening to the beighbours talking, their baby squawking (she's about 9 weeks now) and the trees and birds and stuff. Plus a nice trip to Kakulas brothers, where I managed to spend $33! :-) But I think I will be pretty much ready for Puddin' Time in October if I haven't used everything up by then. In other words, my Tupperware which is not yet bought yet will be filled as soon as it arrives! Bwahahahahahaha!
Ha!
:-)

Date: 2007-08-05 11:53 am (UTC)From:we have a pizza cutter.
Enviro bags with Tupperware written all over them
Sports Bottles with removable screw base
Beverage Buddy for secure and convenient transport and storage of liquids. Includes a Tab Seal and easy grip handle. Translucent walls for capacity levels at a glance. 1.9 Litre capacity.
There's a new icecream scoop.
Did you like the illusions stuff? They have the Illusions Mini Pitcher Set, Set of 2, capacity of 350 mls.
Are you into the saucepans?
Anyway, that comes to $55.30, plus I don't know if they still charge the $2 or whatever it was, I can't find it on the form. Also, what colour seals do you want? I've assumed plain seals, and not pour-all. The pour-alls cost a dollar or so extra.
