I was using the recipe at the back of the women's weekly cookbooks for kids birthday cakes. They actually tell you it's the same ... and one of the books has a very handy chart detailing how long each pan type and number of batter mixes in it take to cook.
I have borrowed the original one from Mum and have three other women's weekly versions of the same book. They're all *slightly* different. But not all of them have that handy chart.
I went looking for my Mum's biscuit book before xmas, because I use it so much. They don't have it anymore. I was quite discouraged by the selection that I found at the newsagents now.
