Well, I didn't take up the EDS offer becauce I wanted to improve my quality of life. I wanted time to sit in the sun and drink a cup of coffee. I wanted time to assiduously gestate. I wanted time to prepare fresh yumy almost vegetarian meals for my loved one. I wanted to make a better life for myself and those around me.

I want this job. Actually, no, let's seperate it into parts. I *loved* working with USD. I loved it's intricacies, it's design, the GUI, and database, the access reporting, the HTMPL files. It truly is the only thing that kept me sane for four years at PB. I would have been bored spitless if I wasn't bashing heads with USD as often as I could.

I liked the software so much that I helped set up and run the User Group. I've been secretary of it for the last two years. I almost went to america to help learn more and further the intentions of the USD product. So, basically, I love the software. I love the product. I firmly believe in it.

I *don't* want... to work until 3:00am on a client site because something is not working. I *don't* want to be at home at 7:00 and that might be a GOOD night. I might have to go shopping and buy decent clothes, and try to look less techy and more.... um... presentable. *sigh*

I've lost the motivation now to re-write my resume. *sigh* I will send it in anyway; but if they're fooling enough to want to interview me, I'll ask for a higher rate of pay. :-)

We shall see.....

Two little ideas - consider part time or contract? And the other one is... it's quite remarkable just how motivating a big pay hike is :)

You're quite right babe

And I love that photo. :-)

Things to consider:
1) If I get what i ask for, I would be able to almost pay off the kitchen loan in the three months.
2) It means I can fly over and rock on with you and gevauden and whoever else gets swept up into the drinking and partying and etc. BTW, is there room on your floor? I'm thinking of visiting for a weekend *grin*
3) It means if I could go to Melbourne and go shopping. Shopping for goff clothes.
4) It means my business researchiness will have to be put on hold.

Mind you, if I get what I ask for, I'll be deliriously amused. If I get what I asked for, I'll buy a bottle of Moet and Chandon, or something, and share it with you and John. :-) And we'd need a spa too. And a nice hotel. And..... *evil grin*
