Ever have that problem where you need to be on the net because then you are less obviously goofing off?
So far today, the dreaded "F" word has not happened. I am relieved. I am thankful. I am overjoyed. However, with the new accountant, this means my duties are now down to answering the phone. Which only ever rings for the manager when he is not here. :-)
So, I've been doing some reading on TAFE courses - I want to do some cooking ones. Sheldon has been ignoring my emails. No further news from the people who know all the secret details about this job. My email has been read a few million times today, and looks like it will get a few more million readings yet to come. Turns out the boss is offsite to do support somewhere, which made one of the techs laugh because apparently he doesn't know much techy stuff.
I've been sending loooooong emails today. I feel sorry for the people in this office, because those of you who have heard me type say I type like a machine gun, and equally noisily, and there's only very small office here. :-)
What else have I been doing? I've beenchecking my hotmail, hungering for comments on my blog posts, but of course, people only post stuff if I post stuff! Dammit, I had better get writing then!
The weekend went well. Roleplaying on Friday, Saturday was Lyn's birthday lunch which was lovely. Got rid of most of the chocolate. If any one wants to buy sell or handle chocolate for Swancon, let me know. We stayed in and watched probably one of the most interesting and least offensive pron we'd managed to purchase yet. A good souvenir of Melbourne. :-) Sunday I dragged myself from bed, and managed to make myself visit the Business Expo. Cheshire is wonderful andcame withme. Scored lots f pamphlets from the government stalls, and managed to score a book from the mal emery stall as well. It looks like gumball machines are *in* as a franchise too.
Lastly, we have the BB eviction party. Lonewolf, you're invited to these too, when they happen again - apparently Lee forgot to email you about last night's one. :-) Next week looks like it might be off due to terracon and dawin travellings. It's great to have the kids over, it's a lot of fun. It stressed L and L out a bit though.
:-)
Um, and now today. Yep. Today. Um. Here. Er. Now. Well, it looks like my last experienced tech is out of here for the rest of the day, and the tech left only started last week. Should be a good time for him then. :-) *kicks stool* Um..
*sigh*
