I am really interested in making my own cosmetics at the moment too. I have been making all my own household cleaning products (which is easy cause they seem to be varying amounts of bicarb soda, vinegar, washing soda crystals and pure soap.)

And I have been washing my hair with bicarb and rinsing with dilute vinegar--best it has been since childhood!

I have been making my own mayonnaise this week too, so next stop in the natural progression must be hair mayonnaise :)

And also, yay! cake!

Your feeding the skin book has a recipe for a mayonaise skin cleanser, which I thought sounded like fun. I bought some vitamine E capsules yesterday! I need to find beeswax and stuff now... help if I had a better list...
