Your idea of a perfect meal would be...? Ummmm... it depends on my mood and the company. I love many things, so while my favouritest meal is apricot chicken and something to absorb the juices, (ie, mashed potato or even rice is good) I do vary in what I would consider perfect. IE, Chesh, Splanky and I went to margaret River before the kids were born, and that was pretty perfect meal. We had a dinner party once we we asked every one to bring a little money and we ordered lots of chinese food, got really drunk together, and had a fabulous, debauched time.... So, I love chinese banquets, yum cha, extensive long drunk italian meals, group cooking... it's variable.

Life is a series of choices hon. Have you made any choices you truly
regret the outcome of or are truly ecstatic about? I am still ecstatic about choosing Chesh. Or him choosing me. Hell, I was about to ask him when he invited me to ask him... I don't think I have any major choices I regret. I decided a long time ago I couldn't be bothered with regrets, and I'd rather know something than not. I am still truly ecstatic to be a part of Fandom.

Of all the people in all existence, who would you choose to be present at
your last supper and why? What would you serve? GOBAMA! GOBAMA! You and doof, transcendancing, kaneda, splanky, aphd3l, babalon_93, and partner, neleh13 and partner, and I guess we'd better invite Michelle too if Barry going to be here. I hope they don't mind the crush.

Will I still get subscriptions when you are rich and famous and a world
renowned author? Only if you beg! I missed last week and no one noticed! LOL Of course! I'm a tad over this book, so when there's stuff to send, there's stuff to send. I expect I will hold off with this book until it's done before I send it out. I'm unsure if it's another 3k or 10k.

What special talent do you wish you had? Do you mean talent, or superpower? Talent... I wish I had an eidetic memory. Perfect recall thanks. Otherwise, the special ability to shit money. that would be really handy LOL Superpower... I'd like to fly. If I could fly as fast as I would like to, I'd fly to cons all the time, and fly to the beach to swim. Why the fuck haven't we invented a bloody teleporter yet?

Why do you think we relate so well?
Because you accept me for who I am. I like that a lot. and the similar interests etc sems to help :) Cause I'm nuts and you are drawn to nutty and weird :D

Where would you like to visit?
I want to go to lots of places.. Hawaii, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and of course Laos. I also want to go back to France and see soem more of it. Other palces in Europe too :) Closer to home I want to do Tasmania, Queensland and Broome again. Even closer to home, I like visiting my brother and his girlfriend, you guys, goth-kittie and all my other friends who keep me sane :)

What sort of vegetable would you like to grow?
Anything that I would remotely use in my kitchen! I will eventually have a vegetable garden near the kitchen, if Doof ever gets the retic done :P

Who is your brightest shining inspiration?
I had to think about this one for a bit, but I think when I really think about it, it would have to be my mum. I hope in years to come I will be someone she is proud of. Which isn't to say she isnt' proud of me now, but I don't feel I do her justice.

Eidetic memory isn't that cool. I have a semi-eidetic memory and it just makes flashbacks all the worse.

Of course if I could just keep it to book stuff, and conversations I'd be much happier; but alas.

Hanging out for that perfect pony paradise? I *am* writing something. Right now. Look, my fingers are moving.

Hard to say at the moment. Something beige because I get to feel all virtuous. Something balanced because that's an extra layer of difficulty. Something with unexpected flavour perhaps. I was very excited when I discovered that red lentils taste like peppery pumpkin.

I didn't know! Not really. There are many Stig Helpers, so finding out who one of them is doesn't take away the magic of The Real Stig.

4) What makes you feel passionate right now?

I want to help make Swancon 2009 the best damn con ever. And stop being ashamed about the condition of my house.

I don't really think about slash (or any fanfic) at all. I'm generally happy to let an author do what they want with their characters, and most of the time I like the sexual tension. Except in Scarecrow and Mrs King. I desperately wanted those two to get together, but they did, so no slash required.

My ultimate spiritual goal
Hmmm. That's a tough one. What am I searching for? I feel holy when I am strong and powerful and using every part of myself in this life. My ultimate spiritual goal would be to listen to what this life requires of me, and to fulfil it to the best of my ability. I think I am balanced enough in my spiritual needs that I am content to be on my path. I seek connection with Deity, and I feel that connection when I allow myself the time and space to be grateful for the minute details of life. My ultimate spiritual goal is to have my religion as part of my life. Right now we're a bit busy and all that for specific religious areas/actions in the house, but a quiet moment of thought every now and then is usually enough.

How would your life be different if you completely gave up automobiles? I'd probably be a LOT thinner. :-) Swancons and distant friends would no longer be an option. I would probably be very lonely.

I hate these sorts of questions because I'm actually really happy and content with who I am, so I never actually think "oh, I wish I could do XXX." So, I don't know, and I don't know. :-) What talent/skills/hobbies could I possibly want?

Consider the question in this light: Something happens to you that renders you unable to engage in a particular talent/skill/hobby. Since our souls need some form of output or we go mad, how would you replace the lost skill?

Frex, if I were to lose all my fingers, that would pretty much put an end to me as a performing musician.

Ok. My hobbies right now consist of : writing, gardening, and reading. Everything else right now is work.

So, I guess if I couldn't write any more, I'd probably start painting.

1. My only annoying Issue is my own dedication, or lack of it. I still have massive lapses, so I'd say that's one that's not yet dealt with at all :)
2. Not Clarion South- most of the tutors who have taught there I consider peers, rather than mentors. One of the US Clarions, or Odyssey, maybe, but I'm never going to have the money so it's all a bit moot.
3. The power of failure.
4. How long is a piece of string? I hate every single aspect of my writing. I'm not good enough, successful enough, famous enough, talented enough, skilled enough, whatever enough. I keep plugging away in the hope that one day, maybe, I'll craft something worthy of being remembered. But frankly, most days I think I'm slipping farther from that goal the harder I try.
5. Nobody. Even writers I'm big fans off, like Jonathon Lethem and Chuck Palahniuk, have had at least one stinker, which means I approach each book with a slight veing of caution. Of course, I'm still approaching their books, so perhaps that's a sign that I retain faith in their ability to satisfy me.

I like apricot chicken. Drhoz hates it - when his parents got divorced, the only thing his dad could cook was apricot chicken. So they got it every other night. You say 'apricot chicken' around Drhoz and he will actually shudder. As a result, we don't have apricot chicken.

1) What's the best thing about being fit?
Never needing to worry if you have the energy or strength to try out anything that comes your way. Never having to sit on the sidelines. For me, being fit also vastly improves my emotional health and brain function, so I really feel like everything in my entire life is easier when I'm fit. So I guess the confidence that comes for me with being fit.

2) What's the most physically difficult thing you've ever done?
Probably the 2-on-1 and 3-on-1 sparring during my black belt grading. The hardest mental thing I've done that required a physical component was getting myself off the back trail of Whistler Mountain. I was scared silly and crawled several hundred metres to get out of the wind and on to a relatively flat spot.

I hate custard, so that's easy. Bungee jumping - just let's let my neck and back heal up a little bit more, yeah?

Like there's a choice? :) Though in all honesty, I would hate to mess up either of their relationships or my own, so I'd be more likely to have a nice cup of hot chocolate and retire to bed alone.
