Yay! I have done all my account closure request documentation! All done! I knew it would be a smooth process, and it was. 3.5 years of practice and planning and procedures so I can out think and out maneourver an AS400. Yay me!
I just love the fact that because of my planning and procedures and that every one else was doing things correctly, I completed the paperwork for 4 accounts within about 8 hours tops - unlike when i first started trying to manage the asset system and it would take me an average of 40 odd hours PER ACCOUNT. Now that sucked. *grin* And I hated it. So of course, I put in procedures and planned things so that it would be easier in future. Such a bitch that things are finally running like a dream, only to be taken away from me. *sigh* :-)
Apparently our favourite staff member is going to work as a consultant. I'm amused - he hates paperwork now, and we've only just got him doing the bare minimum. As a consultant, all he is going to have is paperwork. LOL> Enjoy it, suckerboy!!!
Anyways we have a final date for the last day, which is 30th of April. I'm thinking of having a cocktail party on the saturday afterwards, which is May 1st.
It will depend, of course, on such things as "Will they take us out to dinner to celebrate?" "Can I manage to make them to take me to the Fishy Affair?" "What else do we get?" *shrug* I'm assuming that if PBFL does do something like that it would probably be on the Friday anyway. Roleplaying on Fridays is such a baaaaaaaaad idea. :-)
It will be a Cock and Tails Party. Formal Cocktails dress please folks, plus a Cock or Tail. I thought this one up as a joke (actually, I ASSUME I thought this one up, I can't think of any one else perverted enough to) and mentioned it to a few girls and the number of women who have declared they HAVE to come because they have always wanted to wear a cock... and I was thinking cod peices. *I* will probably wear a tail or something. Or a chicken on my head. Whatever. *GRIN*
I might even make some invites! However, I can never make enough invites for every one, so expect an email confirming/denying this party within the next two weeks. I like to be WELL organized. Maybe we will have it one week after the end, so that 1) if PBFL does do something, I'm free and 2) So I have days and days to make tiny little buns and hor d'eourves and stuff. And more stuff.
Ok, off to complete some more work. I was just so happy about the capex closures, I just had to spread the word! yay me!
