Likewise, neither of us feel any compunction about demanding a sliver of appreciation for a task that, while clearly necessary and a responsibility, was completed via combat with sloth, other demands, or exhaustion. We neither of us are given to suffering silently and swanning about attempting to make the other guess for what we desire credit. We are gleeful 4-year-olds in this: "Look what I did all by myself!!" And being granted easy praise allows us to trot off happy as retrievers.
