Recent Stuff (from LJ) and some Thank Yous

I meant to post it here and let it flow over, but these things happen. I wasn't exactly in my right mind!

Second: Thank you thank you thank you to the emails, twitters, messages, calls, offers of help, time outs, and thoughts. People were genuinely amazing in their generousity, and there's so many of you I am thankful and grateful for that you are all in my life.

Thank you again.

I am feeling quite accomplished this morning. Have managed 'dress, shower, coffee' and progressed into "sweep, clean, dishes" and now the house is in order so we did "family time" where V cooked up a whole bunch of pancakes and I made a huge pot of tea and we had morning tea. Anyway, that's enough bonding time, maybe I should get some work done! I need to find my list book and my shocking list. Everything got very derailed with the monthly shop being done by hand this month, plus the sudden trip to emergency before we had unpacked anything/organzied to fill in the holes.

I had been following on Facebook, but felt like I was too distant / too much of an unknown factor to be of any help. I read through the LJ post; what a stressful time! My god. Vin was such a champion through it all, and so were you as well, but it must have been terrifying and I hope you can and do take the time to continue to be gentle with yourself and the kids. :)

Hope everything is back in order in no time as well. *offers hugs*
