It's not too bad though. So I got rid of the kids and have collected the ingredients to make a slowcooker full of chicken and corn soup.

What does your family do when the household starts getting the winter sniffles? What comfort foods do they cook?

My mainstay when I'm ill with a cold is carrot and ginger soup (with a ton of fresh/roasted garlic), since it's so healthy, easy to digest, and tasty.

But chicken and corn soup is amazing too.

I'm sorry to hear that you're sick, that blows. :/
