I think I am coming down with a cold. Yes, today, when months of planning and hard work on Cheshire's part brings us Wastelands, and months of planning and hardwork on my part is where I attempt to capitalise on Cheshire's work for Swancon's benefit. Oh, and a little for me too. :-)
But I have taken some cold and flu tablets and feel much better. Not so much a floozy! Wheeee! Chesh and I made a cake this morning, so we have food at the con. We're expecting munchielunchies, and purchased dinners. *shrug* This is one of our first attempts to go cheap. Usually we have a set budget with excess in the bank, but this year we're trying to do it a little cheaper. :-) Good for a giggle!
Hoping to see heaps of preople there this weekend. I'm feeling pretty untamed; haven't had a hair cut or a hair cut in a long long long long long time. :-( Hairysez! I spose I should take a shaving thingy. Blade. Beautician. *shrug* I think sometimes that I have worked at home for too long when I suddenly remember that once again, I have forgotten the deoderant. :-) At least there's no dreadlocks yet; my biggest vanity is trying to keep my hair longer than Splanky's and *any* one else I know. Anysia still beats me I think. *grin*
Kinda tired mentally, and a bit vague physically too. Garden has shaped up surprisingly well, thinking of having a garden warming one afternoon and getting every one to bring a herb for the planned herb garden. Then I can bake all day and all morning and make heaps of cakes and biscuits and stuff and we can sit in the sun (while it's still gentle enough to) or the shade when it's not gentle any more, and watch the cats frolic. They seem to have adapted awfully well. :-) I expected more scaredy cat-ed-ness but they seem to have either done that at night when I was asleep or just skipped that phase. They seem to prefer it out there at the moment. Hmmmmmm.

Date: 2004-10-08 12:33 am (UTC)From:Hey, if anyone wanna come keep me company in Teh Boondocks, food will be provided :) No red door, unfortunately. Actually, I forget what colour door I'm currently residing behind. Whenever my father gets bored, he paints. Seriously, every time I come down, there's a new colour somewhere.
And Anysia is an awesome cook - mmmm, chili
